Some say that one of the best parts of travelling is the journey itself. In this section, we will discuss a wide variety of ways of getting to Valencia and making the most of it.

From the World to Valencia – No Transfers

If your idea is to arrive directly in Valencia, the plane is the best means of transportation. Valencia holds one of the most diverse airports in Spain when it comes to different destinations. The name of the airport is ‘AEROPUERTO DE VALENCIA-MANISES (VLC)’

Next, you can check which airport with a direct connection to Valencia is nearer you:

When clicking in every airport icon, you can see the flight company or companies in charge of the connection, as well as the period of time where the flight is available, i.e. annual (‘anual’ in Spanish) or on summertime (‘verano’ in Spanish). This information has been obtained from the following website, which presents more thorough facts about the dates (currently only in Spanish). Check it out!

We have a couple of recommendations when it comes to buy a plane ticket that may save your day:

Be careful with time! Buying tickets with several moths in advance is the most recommendable thing to do in order to get the best prices. Postponing the purchuse could increase its value, especially considering that the event is held in summer and prices will skyrocket.

When searching for the best ticket, think about  any possible airports that might be a little bit further than others, but where prices are considerably lower for those days. Sometimes taking an one-hour train ticket might save you hundreds of euros.

Regarding the last one, we also want to present you a few other alternatives when arriving to Spain. What about reaching Madrid or Barcelona before or after going to Valencia? Sometimes bigger cities offer a greater variety of choices when travelling by plane.

From Spain to Valencia – With Transfers

If you want to discover other Spanish landscapes just right before and/or after IGSM is celebrated, here it is a list of alternative ways of getting to Valencia.
